Here’s everything you need to know before booking your time at Studio Retro!
Our goal is to make your experience smooth, inspiring, and easy from start to finish, whether you’re shooting portraits, content, or holding a creative production.

1. How do I book the studio?

You can instantly book online through Acuity Scheduling or Peerspace with no waiting required. Just choose your preferred time, complete checkout, and you’ll receive a confirmation email with all your access details right away!

2. What’s included in my rental?

All lighting, equipment, furniture, and props in the studio are available for your use during your reserved time. You’ll have full access to move and style items as needed, just be sure to return everything to its place when finished.

3. Can I visit before booking?

Yes! We offer quick walk-throughs by appointment, so you can see the space, lighting, and setup options in person. Just send us a message to schedule a time.

4. Can I bring my own props or equipment?

Absolutely! You’re welcome to bring your own gear, wardrobe, or décor pieces to personalize your shoot. We simply ask that all items be handled with care and returned to their original spots, including anything borrowed from the closet or loft attic.

5. What’s your cancellation policy?

You may cancel up to 7 days before your session for a full refund.
Cancellations made between 7 days and 24 hours before your session receive a 50% refund (excluding fees).
Bookings canceled less than 24 hours before your session are non-refundable.

6. When should I arrive for my session?

Please plan to arrive about 10 minutes early to allow time for parking and using your building and studio access codes. This helps so you aren’t too pressed for time and can use your reserved time to the fullest!

7. Are there any studio rules or restrictions?

To keep Studio Retro clean, comfortable, and photo-ready for everyone:

  • No glitter, confetti, or smoke (including candles, sparklers, etc) inside the space

  • Please return all furniture, décor, and props to their original areas after use and report if any damages

  • Before leaving, set the thermostat to 72°F (cooling) or 70°F (heating) depending on the seaso
